Significance of Food Allergy Testing
What is the significance of food allergy testing? It is important to remember that most autoimmune diseases and chronic conditions that we all suffer from are caused by delayed autoimmune responses in the digestive track to delayed food allergies. IgE reactions occasionally involve the gut but cause few chronic diseases.
Of the many and sometimes inexpensive tests, there is a significant variance in results. Multiple studies have shown IgG4 to be protective and act as a blocking antibody preventing the progression of food and inhalant sensitivity. These IgG4 antibodies therefore have very little clinical value. Total IgG which includes IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4 are associated with a specific allergic pathway: Type II or Type III reactions.
However, the most damaging are those IgG and IgM antibodies that combine with serum protein and activate complement reactions causing permanent cell damage i.e. Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, and a whole host of other serious chronic conditions. The combining of immunoglobulins and complement forms immune complexes which then can activate the complement cascade. Only the Sage method testing all of these pathways simultaneously can provide the doctor enough comprehensive information to ensure a complete clinical response i.e. the patient gets well by avoiding all reactive foods.
The Sage ELISA Test is the most comprehensive multi-pathway test which tests mechanisms of immunologically mediated diseases for Type II, Type III and Type IV and has an 80% success rate in treating patients. Meaning 80% of the patients with delayed food allergies get well following an elimination rotation diet indicated by the test results. We are so confident of the results that we guarantee our test or you get retested within the first six weeks at no charge or get a full 100% refund of your pre-payment.
When you accurately find the foods causing the symptoms and eliminate those foods you will be healthy again. Please visit the " How to Order" page now.
